Get in touch with the Chinese Embassy

I don't see the Chinese Embassy being interested in intervening they have bigger fish to fry....Op as they are in a different country there really isn't a lot you can do..Is there a way to block unknown numbers, or unplug your phone or just hang up and wait until they get bored and the calls stop. If you sent the phone back it may mysteriously disappear into a void that my parcels always seem to drop into...email Samsung and ask them to send out a prepaid envelope so you can pass it onto them to look into the company and fakes...the calls won't go on forever.

Uh, I think it was a joke!

OP, I don't believe the police told you to keep the phone and the refund.

Let's be honest you received a few phone calls and got a free phone. That's a good deal in anyone's book.
  • You could ask your phone company to change your number, bit of a hastle but it would do the job.
  • Is it REALLY worth the bother for the £2.34 it costs to send it back via Hermes? You'd think was a situation where the OP will lose his house by some of the replies, whereas it's actually a problem that can be fixed for less than the price of a pint of beer.

Just send it back to end the stress and aggro.

Why would the police get involved for a fake phone?

I thought they would have destroyed the phone but they just said don't send it back. I've not had any phone calls today so hopefully they have given up. Thanks for the replies everyone :)

Just tell them (the Chinese callers) you've sent it back.
