Intersting the Aldi I use also shares its car park with a PH so the same issues apply (may even be the same store).
not sure about the planning permission though re parking for other stores
just checked the planning and re the car parking it says
the car park is shared with the public hous
e, and that it would also supplement
the existing constrained car parking within the District Centre
that suggests it is also shared with the district centre? shops in the area maybe0 -
planning permission was set at 3 hrs at aldi (preston) with the planning consent , aldi/parking eye have lowered this to 80 mins.
twice I have challenged via POPLA and lost on this one ground (purposely not said GPEOL) , one visit to court (I won) with planning document * and second time they backed down within days of court when there legal rep spotted my name.
* if you go to "what do they know /preston counsil , the document is published there , after I asked for it0 -

If you mean this FOI request:

The council simply responsed with a copy of the decision notice and a statement that there is no S.106 agreement. There's nothing about 3 hours' parking.Je suis Charlie.0
