Negotiate harder - I got them down well below £1 for unlimited BB and evening+weekend calls, but still left them for a cheaper deal elsewhere.

I know I could negotiated them down as this was the first offer, but I do think that it is a fair offer, it's very affordable for us and I think their service is worth it. I do like to pay for good service, even big faceless companies can do good sometime :D

Why not? Some providers give away broadband for free when you buy your line rental from them. They were simply price-matching the latest EE deal (for which line rental is £2 per month cheaper and broadband is £2.50 per month).

Hi after telephoning for the MAC Key & mentioning 'Talk Talk & EE, the deal offered was £2.31 per mth on an 18 mth contract, unlimited. A saving of £138.24 over the 18 mths compared to regular price.

So thx again guys for advice

One wonders how high line rental is going to have to go, if internet deals like those in posts # 15 to 17 become the "norm"
