I'm well over budget, have spent about £150 but this included alcohol for a party we had for friends, and a few bottles of wine to take with us when we visit family and friends over the next few days. Didn't realise how much drinks and food for 10 people would be, even though we got a lot of the food reduced and already had lots of drinks in! We don't have to cook for the next few days as we are at our parents then a friends and I don't like to turn up empty handed! Also bought a few bits YS today so freezer is packed, couldn't resist bread at 1p and crumpets for 2p!
Not too disappointed as we have plenty of food in for next month and Christmas is only once a year and we haven't gone too overboard!
Hope everyone has a lovely day tomorrow!

Well that's me declaring an annual spend of £3407.43 an underspend of £352.57. Really pleased with that. My freezer is rammed full of the Christmas reductions on meat and I was very lucky as all my coupons went through so halved the final total on heavily reduced bargains. I'll pop over to the January thread and sort out a new target for 2015

  • Hope you have all had a lovely Christmas/break and are enjoying a well earned break.

I've spent £8 in the last few days, all on YS stuff...a packet of beef mince, tomatoes, chicken thighs, scallops, persimmon fruits, parsnips, roasting potatoes, fresh potatoes, parsnips, mixed veg...eek! Love a bargain!

Will be freezing what is not eaten or making soups. :santa2::santa2::p
