TMobile final bill
Have just received my final bill from TMobile, and have been charged £50 for 7MB of data on the day my number switched away from them.
I wasn't aware this could happen and wasn't warned. I assumed the contract remained in place until the moment the number moved. Is there any chance of getting it removed from the bill at all?
They will never get another penny from me...

Are you sure its not a early cancellation fee
It seems a lot for 7mb of data.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -
I left T-Mobile a few months ago and this is a known issue with their billing system due to the pro-rata discount.
It took me awhile to get through to somebody knowledgeable in their call centre but eventually they acknowledged the problem and three weeks later the money (£90+ in my case) was refunded.
Expect to get billed another £2.50 after the refund when their system generates and charges you for a paper bill showing the refund.0 -
I should add ... on teh bill they've refunded me the monthly plan payment from 10 November to 6 December, then charged me for 7MB 762KB 184B (to be exact!) of data on 10 November. Seems devious at best ...
If I don't sort it I shall be handing out photocopies of the bill outside the EE store0 -
No, there's an additional £7.33 notice period charge.....
It is itemised on my account and is definitely 2.5MB and 4.5MB on the day the number switched.
Sorry i can't see how they can justify that amount and then they wonder why so many people get the hump with them.
Hope i don't get a bill like that i have just given my cancellation notice to T-Mobile and it ends the 23th this month.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.0 -

Loads of information in the internet on how for years they keep shamelessly robbing leaving customers and refunding the money only to those who have guts.
This is their deliberate policy, not some "issue with their billing system" that wouldn't take more than a week to sort out.0 -
I got lots of additional charges on my Final bill as well, although not to that value. I complained via Facebook Message and They cancelled the balance on the final bill so I owed nothing.0

Well I posted on their Facebook wall and got a response from a human, so I'll hold off ringing and see if they can sort it....
Thanks!0 -
Facebook message:Our billing team noticed this error after the bill was produced. The unexpected data charges were removed from your account on Tuesday. The balance on your account is £9.08. We won't take the £68.40 from your bank account.
How much do we think will go from my account next week?
Do they really check bills after they send them?
Were they *really* going to let me know?0
