Afternoon all,

I decided to sell my Galaxy Note 2 to buyandsellphones.co.uk as they 'offered' the best price of 140.00. The guys at buyandsellphones promptly delivered my pre-paid envelope ready for me to dispatch the phone. I decided to pay for special delivery due to the value of the handset. The phone was dispatched on the 11th Nov and it was successfully delivered at 9am on the 12th Nov.

I've not heard a peep since! I've emailed, called and even skype'd the company and the directors a number of times throughout the last week but I've heard NOTHING.

I should of searched the internet for reviews before agreeing the sale, anyway I found this:

Serves me right in a way I should of done my research before hand

I will give the company until the end of the week to either return my handset or make payment as agreed before I start legal proceedings through the small claims court.

Please beware of choosing this company, I have in the past used a more reputable mobile recyclers and the turn around has been less than 24hours.

I've just read the T&Cs

Payments will be made via the selected method in 5 working days. Buy and Sell Phones Website will not be held liable where transactions fail due to incorrect account details being entered upon registration.

So really they have until Wednesday to make payment.

Lets wait and see. The lack of response doesn't feel me with confidence

You also can't issue without first giving proper notice through a Letter Before Legal Proceedings, or else you may have problems in presenting your case in a reasonable manner.

Make sure they are also likely to be around to get the money from after any successful legal claim.

Received an email from these people on Tuesday confirming that i'd receive payment on Thursday! Guess what, I've received nothing.

I've emailed them saying to expect a letter in the post confirming my intentions to go via the small claims court.

Sent my immaculate phone off well before xmas - £86 agreed. Original box with extras in it. 3days ago was offered a revised price due to damage to the casing. Asked them to send it back as I knew there was no damage. Received 'a' phone today. Completely battered in a different box and the phone has a different IME number.

How thick do they think I am.

Will be making a discreet visit to Mr Mulready.

If you look up Damon Mulready (as I can't post the link) You will be able to see what a horrible little scrote looks like.

I threaten them with legal action and my phone was promptly returned lol. Send them a letter of intentions and they will return your phone no doubt.

Wow. I wish I'd had a Google before sending two phones off. I'm a single Mum - my husband left me and my son about 10 months ago and I thought I'd send off two old phones I had knocking about so I could get some extra pennies for Christmas - love buying my toddler toys!
Anyway, these thieving gets haven't replied to any email, text or phone call that I have made since the end of October. I'm absolutely devastated. It was only about £40, but that's a fortune when you've got next to nothing spare after being left with a £9000 CCJ from the ex!!!!!

I wish I wish I had read this thread before I sent off my two iphones. Everything being said is exactly what has happened to me. This is absolutely disgusting. How can they get away with it?

I've since sent off a letter of intent to report them. Wondering if anything has happened since others have posted?
