 Hi Quillion - nice to see you!
(((Hugs))) to Bossy x
Glad you had a better day today, dancemum, and I hope the coming week is less stressful for you.
YorkshireLass slow down and take care of yourself, please.
Welcome back mumof2 and MMM.
Thank you Dusty for the new thread, and Natty for doing last week's Flying orders and the Christmas card list. I'm definitely in this week: need to keep on top of the house as well as trying to do some work and look after my friend and DH.
My list for tomorrow:
Get up at least 2 hours earlier than I did today (it was 09:55 when I finally surfaced)
Give the hob a clean
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor
Clean kitchen window
Wipe the work surfaces
Clean the kitchen sink, taps, plugs
Clean washing machine and DW filters and drawers
***I really need to get all the above done by 09.30***
U3A meeting at 09.45 (don't forget to take tea and bsicuits!)
Phone my friend
Email DS1
Email Minutes to Germany
Email logo to graphic designer
Sort out items for Old Wives' Group WW1 Commemoration in the evening
HHI
That should keep me out of mischief :rotfl:
I had a lovely day yesterday. As well as taking DGD1+2 out, I managed to do all the jobs on my list, and cooking for the three German visitors was a great pleasure - no leftovers!!!
DH, on the other hand, had a very hard day: a long trip to Aberystwyth, a difficult funeral and a nightmare journey home. This morning he was extremely out of sorts emotionally and this afternoon he has not felt at all well physically and had quite a funny turn, so I am trying to keep an eye on him too. We have had a quiet evening watching War Horse, and I have almost finished the Trauma Teddy that I've been knitting - might have to leave his scarf until tomorrow, though....0 -

Thanks Dusty for this week's thread and Natty for last week's thread and card list

Skinty is burning the midnight oil.......well lighting up my free firewood in the LR......washing on the maidens, dehumidifier on...WM on, TD emptied ready for folding in the morning once school run decluttered..DW on hot wash cycle with oven shelves and cooker hood filters. on cheap leccy, last of todays WUDUPA...hob is clean, scrapped burnt miscellany from bottom of oven, now covered in soda crystals and boiling water......made a cheeky porridge which promptly overflowed in MW, so I will now declutter half a bowl of porridge and clean up MW in a mo....also fridge could do with some TLC.......although if EXMiL bring contents of her fridge tomorrow I might be best of waiting til Wednesday on that one!
Planned outfits for nursery fancy dress party.....DD3 is now going as Mulan (recycling a medieval dress she had in year 7) seeing as she dyed her hair black in my absence from Fred.....adding a satin sash, green "jade" necklace, an apple, a pendant, a fan and if I can get one a parasol. I will then do the Chinese bridal makeup for her and let her do her own Chinese writing on her forearm of the final admonition!...don't quite know what I am going to do about a cricket (short of getting a real dead one from Pet Shop!)
Going to make the blue princess dress do again for DD4, as it's so much like the expensive Fr0zen ones, I will just let her wear it. Might go back to bandm for a pirate outfit for DS and let him be Capt J@ck Sp@rrow.
My blue fairy costume bits and bobs are winging their way through the bay of E, but if I should ever have the reason to wear a fancy ballgown again, I will have one that isn't black.
If DD2 gets back for the party, she will have to go as Marge Simpson.....
Really should go turn the washing over now, but I think I am ready for sleep....nighty night (again!)The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
I'm in for part of the week as going to visit DD1 and grandson Wednesday to Sunday, kitchen is good for Monday as I am half way through the de cluttering of cupboards and cleaning the kitchen. Living room looking much better after working my own lists, as is hall and stairs, bathroom and downstairs loo. Just need to keep the momentum going and do the dailies and s/s every day. Dog keeps hiding, he probably thinks he is for the de cluttering process ! but only his fur is going in a good brushing.
Hugs, sticks, and congrats to all who deserve them.
Night night DottyNSD 1/3,
My mantra is After I ....I will. eg After I make my morning coffee, I will take my medication. Eventually this will become a habit,0 -

Morning all. Thanks for the list Dusty. I'm in this week as I did nothing last week.
I have two and a half hours before the paid stuff, and shouldn't need to travel anywhere this week, fingers crossed.
I'm going to start with the list, get dressed, walk the dogs then do a quick hoover through the house.
Have a great day everyone.
Famous last words - just logged in to the paid stuff and found out I'm in London on Wednesday - oh joy!
Update: Ironing doneSpend less now, work less later.0 -
Good morning.
I'm in Thanks Dusty and thanks to Natty for last week and doing the Xmas card list.
Hopefully this week will be a bit more stress free. If my parcel arrives early enough I'm nipping out to do a bit of Xmas shopping. DGS and his is partner got moved into their new house so I'm looking forward to visiting them.
Welcome to returners and newbies. :wave:0 -
Morning everyone
Thanks for the lists. Our kitchen is still under reconstruction but I can tidy it up a bit - and the utility room definitely needs attention.
Mind you, paid stuff at both jobs, a meeting tonight and I need to call and see my Mum as its her birthday today. That wont leave much time for flying anyway!
Off to put chilli in sc next then get ready for work.
Is it worth hanging the washing out I wonder?0
