How old is he, sushistar? I got my little lad one last chrimbo, just before he turned 5. We went for the 16" wheel one and he was proper tippy-toes on that, I think in hindsight the smaller one may have given him more confidence to get off the stabilisers sooner. Having said that, it would have been too small by now, and he's doing just fine on the bigger one.

Is pigpen alright? Missing in action? Hope everything ok with new baby. X

Speaking of which I stopped in at my mums for coffee and was presented with a rather full-nappied baby, lol. What an introduction! The young mum was with the midwife (staples, poor lass) and my mum was bursting for the loo, so I had to get my hands dirty, so to speak. He's a little sweetheart, though...

Well I've been out and about, got myself a nice tunic top and a bag, plus the grocery shopping. Was trying to find some fishcakes that MIL likes but they all were use by tomorrow. So I got her slightly different ones that will last to the weekend, hope she likes them.

Groceries all put away, secret Santa gift for the weekend wrapped and my little case extracted from the loft. Must remember to take hat and gloves, I'm hoping we might fit in a sneaky trip to the b!rmingham Xmas markets on Saturday... <checks weather forecast> hmm brolly too!

Just having a brew then will go collect my little dears (they are being good for me this week :A), we have DD swimming lesson tonight, so a quick tea needed first.

I do feel heaps better today, isn't it amazing what a change in attitude can do?

yorkshirelass lol im like that when I go to the tyre place, its such a mans world, nothing to do with them its just how I feel, doesnt help that you have to reverse out, now im good at reversing but I get all nervous cos everybody watches, last time I almost ran over the tyre taker offer thing, I made a hasty retreat :D

Thats really made me laugh because someone had parked behind me and I had to do a 43 point turn to get out of the tyre fitting place. All I kept thinking about was running over the air line thingy. I have to go back again tomorrow as they havent got the tyre I need. The nice man put some air in my dodgy tyre so I am praying its not flat in the morning.

Dark and rainy here, off to blitz the utility room and bathroom. DS1 is sitting in his pjs staring at the computer while I gently try and encourage him to give me a hand. I know he is feeling down at the minute but its hard not to get frustrated with him.

Ah well, sitting here isnt going to get anything done!

  • Hello fly ladies , weds is always my nemesis day, work, cm, school, dancing, homework with the boy, hyper dancing girl home, bedtime carnage = no time for housework :rotfl: I have however done wm x 2, td, stripped my bed ( small persons nappy leaked) and seen about a hundred patients this morning, all of whom turned up (unheard of!) so I had not 2 minutes for a cup of tea or to catch up n admin :(

Will attempt some in a bit once I've dne violin practice with the boy :eek:.....

Have massacred some pancakes for tea for the kids and put a chicken in for dh and me, don't know yet what we'll have with it though :rotfl:
