So I can ignore any P & C, or Disabled Bay signs, & will 100% be able to ignore any tickets?

Yeah, go for it. Especially ParkingEye tickets, they're the easiest of all to ignore.

    - 'obviously lazy and inconsiderate', and you are what by contrast?

As c-m repeats on these Threads, p+c spaces are a marketing scam, nothing more.

In future, offer to carry the 25kg sacks for op.

This is exactly the sort of response that sends people away from mse and runs against Martin's enjoinder: 'Please be nice to all moneysavers.'

op - I am glad useful and correct advice has appeared since, but why aren't you following it?

Do this and nothing but this.

They are indeed a marketing scam, but people with children may well find them useful which is why I would not use one unless I had a child with me.
Same as I don't park in disabled bays unless I have a person with limited mobility or similar with me.
That must make me considerate I suppose :D

Perhaps the store might consider offering customers the use of trolleys to transport heavy goods to their cars.

But only if they're accompanied by children.

And woe betide if you use one of their shopping trolleys that holds a baby and don't actually have a baby with you.

Of course you can ignore the tickets if you want, but the advice on this site is not to.

I didn't say you can park in P & C bays without getting a ticket, merely that they have absolutely no legal standing or even recognition anywhere in UK law. They are meaningless symbols on a bit of hardstanding. A PPC however is only interested in making money so invents infringements of its made up rules in the hope people will ignore them.

I wouldn't personally advocate parking in a disabled bay unless I was entitled to (sometimes I am, sometimes I am not) because I think it is morally wrong to deprive someone with protected characteristics from parking there. Some disable bays have to be legally provided by certain landowners, but on private land they again have no legal standing whatsoever in UK law.

It is not a civil or criminal offence to park in a disabled bay on private land none of the occupants have a disibility covered by the EA 2010, it's just bad form if you do.

Not sure that I would want a trolley if every one came with a child.

Mind you if it was a strong child it could carry the dog food.

In my household it would be the dog food.
