What an evil buyer!
As above, PHONE ebay and point out to them that buyer has already said they wanted to keep the item initially, and that there is nothing wrong with it, and have already had it for TWO weeks, so it must have been them who broke it.
Have they actually opened a dispute?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Fortunately No dispute as such has been opened yet just a return request which was comical full of lies and totally conradicted everything she said in previous emails. Ebay has assured me that should they open a dispute it's guaranteed to go in my favour as they can see from previous emails that they had indeed opened the package and were totally happy with item so hope they're good as their word.0

Pretty bad situation to have a buyer annoyed they didn't get their own way damaging an item out of spite. I thought sellers had to accept returns now, my last request, every option involved refunding (with return postage at my expense)0

Must admit up till now my faith in ebay was quite low due to previous encounters however they've assured me that they are backing my and any dispute will go in my favour due to buyer contradicting themselves and blatantly lying.
I just don't understand why someone can be so conniving and deceitful !!0 -

Soooo 8 days later after various more abusive contradicting messages from the buyer threatening this that and the other calling me all names I escalated the return request on ebay and added all info regarding threatening emails ect. only for a couple of mins later ebay to close it and refund the buyer out of their pockets !!! I'm so so mad at ebay, fair enough I don't have to fork out for it however I'm mad that this disgusting buyer has got away with it just like that they have the item and their refund and they're still on ebay to do it to more poor sellers !!
Oh and I decided to have a trawl through buyers ebay. Altho they have positive feedback about 15 sellers have left negative comments regarding how rude, demanding and a total nightmare of a buyer this is. So they've obviously been reported numerous times !!
Why won't ebay do something !!0 -

The false positives probably don't help, that is a strike for the seller if reported not the buyer. There is an outside chance that if all those sellers had pursued complaints rather than leave a false positive, then something might have been done. All those sellers did was to increase the buyers positive rating making the buyer look better.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
