I guess some people are just never happy
Why did you apologise for the delay?I was unable to post it till a couple of days after payment and I messaged buyer to apologise for delay0 -
Out of politeness as usually I dispatch items same or next day of payment, however I was unable to till 2 days later and I messaged buyer to tell them it had been posted and sorry for couple of days delay, as in my listing I usually put that altho my estimated dispatch time is 3 days I usually post within 1.theonlywayisup wrote: »Why did you apologise for the delay?0 -
Buyer has now left negative feedback stating what a terrible un accommodating bad communicating seller I am
It's such a pity negative feedback cannot be no longer left for abusive demanding buyers like this one.
Hopefully ebay will be good as their word and remove the unfair feedback.0 -

Result. Thanks for updating, it helps others in the future gauge what might happen/be likely.
In case I have missed it, don't forget to BBL the buyer.0 -

Unless your actually late - don't appologise - it just brings it to their attention and gets their scamming brains in gear.
Ebay could also have seen this as an admission of guilt that your item was in fact late.
Glad it worked out - why they don't educate buyers on feedback i will never know - it would get the queue's down to customer service.0 -

Its one change i bever understood, Buyers can be bad too, so why cant they be left feedback saying such!!0 -
The plot thickens I have just had a message from the buyer saying that the item is broken and they now want to return for a full refund including postage they have sent image of the break and it most definately was not broken when sent. I have emails as proof that they said the item was fine and they were happy with it they didn't want to return. They recieved it two weeks ago and I find it a huge coincidence that now the haven't got their own way by demanding they are now playing dirty. I'm totally totally livid
Please does anyone know where I stand with this ?0 -
All you can do at the moment is to contact ebay (I've always received better service on the phone rather than livechat) and explain exactly what has happened.
Make sure that point out (a few times if possible) that your buyer has admitted via email that the item was perfect when received and that they were adamant that they didn't want to return it for a refund and it is only now, two weeks later after you have refused their request for a partial refund that the item is now damaged.
Hopefully you will get a sensible ebay support person!
If this fails and ebay refund your buyer, you could contact them and advise that unless they refund you in full, you will take legal action (moneyclaim online is easy to do), and as you have verifiable proof from them that the item was delivered in perfect condition, it is highly likely that you will win the case.0
