    £8! That's alright!

Didn't know you could load the card before it arrived, bet I'm not in the 2000 now.

Think I'll keep in my purse for emergencies. The cash would last 2 seconds

Edited to say I just got my fiver, transferred cash yesterday

I loaded it using a debit card and had no issues.

Did you name as displayed on your pockit card and as on your debit card match letter for letter?

OK, that's the problem for me then. All of my debit card issuers have used my middle initial while pockit haven't. Bit rubbish of pockit really - they should ask you exactly what name you need on your card if this requirement applies, rather than just asking you for your first and last names.

I have just checked and on my Pocket account statement there is no middle initial shown. However on the debit card I used my middle initial is shown. Based on that perhaps there is another reason why you have experiencing problems.

That's what I suspect too. My name not matching is just an easy way to try to fob me off. I don't think I want to do a bank transfer to the card given these problems with sing a debit card.

I can appreciate how you feel. I only did it for free £5 minus 0.99p fee.

Perhaps you could try another debit card (if you have one of course) and see whether that works. Don't let them get away with your £5.

I've tried it with about half a dozen debit cards! Hopefully I'll get the quidco payment at least.

I noticed that you can deposit the initial £1 by SMS (or 99p by credit card).

It would be very handy if subsequent Pockit top-ups could be done using these methods?
