Ordered and loaded on the 14th, £5 added today. I was looking for something like this for my daughter so am very happy. £10.99 spent, £14.01 balance on the card.

Still waiting for mine and loaded on the 11th. However pleased for your daughter.
  • I'd been watching this thread eagerly to see if I was the only one who'd qualified for the £5 off and hadn't yet received the money. I was hoping someone would post success! I received an email from PockIt a few minutes ago and checked the website to confirm and yes, the £5 bonus is there, so that's two success stories so far.

I can't load onto my card. Every debit card I try gets declined. emailed pockit and they didn't reply. Phoned them and they said that the name on my debit card had to match the name on my pockit card exactly. Sounds improbable but in any case none of them do match - pockit have put my first name in full on the card while my debit cards show my initials.

They seem a bit of a joke. Anyone know if the money that I load onto the card is protected by the FCA? I note that:

"The Card is issued by Wirecard Card Solutions Ltd (“WDCS”) pursuant to licence by MasterCard International Inc.
WDCS is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to conduct electronic money service activities under the
Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (Ref: 900051)."

which gives me some comfort but this isn't a usual deposit.

Very impressed. With the card now loaded with £15 including bonus I used it
in a store yesterday and had no problems. \

It's not something I would need but the bonus came in useful. However may load the card when I go abroad rather than giving out my main stream card details.

    How did you load it?

I loaded it using a debit card and had no issues.
