Robinson Way......letter out of the blue
Comments

Hi
New here and really sorry if I need to post a new thread (call me useless, but can’t see how on iPhone).
I received a text out of the blue from RW asking for me to call, I knew nothing of it so ignored, as per research. I then received a letter but my name was incorrect. My first name in full, is 2 syllables, yet the letter was addressed to an abbreviated 1 syllable version.
Is this a fishing letter and what would you advise on next steps?

Thanks, sourcrates (great name, btw). I’ll do the provit letter and see what happens.
Will post back if/when they reply.0 -
Sorry, where do I find the template for this letter? Want to make sure I don’t mess it up!
Thanks again.0 -

Thanks, W2L, will get that in the post today.0

Is it possible to email them a completed prove it letter? Would that speed up the process of them leaving me alone?0

Great, thanks.0

I’ve sent off an email stating I don’t have any knowledge of any debt to Abbey or Robinson Way and the onus of proof is on them.
Also stating consumer credit act and asking them to provide proof before contacting me with threatening letters again.
My question is: is there a deadline for them to respond?0
