  • Hello everyone, thank you all for your good wishes. It was my first day at work today for 5 weeks which felt odd but what I needed - some normality. I am off next week to prepare everything for Mums funeral next Friday and the list of jobs is enormous. It felt strange last night coming back to my house, and I had to close the door of Mums room here as it just felt too raw. One day at a time eh. I have caught up with some of my bank accounts today though and caught up with the missing £'s for the days I was absent so I am back on track with this challenge anyway. I will hopefully be back to my usual chatty ways in due course.

I hope your ok and work/family life hasn't been too bad. Were all here sending you hugs and thoughts :o If you need anything, were all here.

    Payday today!! :j

January's payments have been transferred, bringing my total to £62/£365

Makes it much easier than transferring it everyday, and it means I don't have to draw unnecessary cash :D

Well done, you were a late comer aswell. Fantastic. You will see your total on the spreadsheet is all upto date and GREEN, which is good :rotfl:

MrCF - I am bowing out of this challenge :(

I have decided to whittle down some of the challenges I am involved as I am finding it hard at times to remember where I am with them all since increasing my hours and now working full time shifts.

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this challenge - it can't be easy!

Good luck to everyone else on the way to reaching your targets :)

Hello. Not a problem, we all have our targets and sometimes having less is more. If you want to come back at any stage though, you know where we are :D

  • Afternoon Members :hello:

That's another update completed. Were doing absolutely fantastic.

Were over £2500 for December and £1100 for January.

There is still space for 3 more members to fill in the people who have left so if your lurking, join up and get saving. You will be left with a great total at the end of the year :D

I am going to update fresh pictures of the spreadsheet later for the people who cant see it. If your total is wrong, let me know on here or do another update sheet with the month which is incorrect. Remember you are updating for this particular month only (unless you haven't updated December).

If you were late in joining and are playing catch up, please remember that you have to fill in Decembers total aswell so you'll need to work out your totals for both months.

Keep saving hard, its paying off.

Hi everyone, been a bit MIA because I had to take a break from transferring into the pot as January was a bit tight due to Christmas (hopefully won't happen next year with all the saving!). Today was pay day so have transferred enough to catch up with January, the remainder of the month and February's savings. Have sent my update for the spreadsheet. Hope you're all keeping well.

Hello everyone. Well, I have survived the week at work and to be honest it has helped me - just that little bit of normality. I am off again all next week to get ready for the funeral next Friday.
Thank you all for your good wishes - they really mean a lot.
I am at £60 at the minute - £30 for December and £30 for January - if you could update my figures Mr CF that would be much appreciated. I still get that little bit of pleasure as the £ goes into the tin, and its not such an empty noise these days. I have realised that we have to take our pleasures where we can!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
  • I've earned £21 on TCB today which takes me to £65 for January. I'm going to declare for this month and if I get anything next week it will be a head start on February. :T
