  • Thanks Mr CF for updating the spreadsheet and is lovely to see I have achieved 8.5% of my target already. Will be paying the next instalment early as I get paid 10 days early in December because of Christmas. January will be a long long month!

Glad you had a lovely holiday and congratulations on getting house offer accepted. Is it your first house purchase?

  • A massive thank you to everyone for the kind words regarding the holiday. It truly was great ;)

I have spent an absolute fortune this month. With Xmas and the holiday it's like

Had my staff party last night. Great meal which I paid for months ago but I spent a little on drinks too. Came home with lots of change (coins) which I've out in my shiny new box which I bought on holiday. I might do month / week about for online transfers or physically putting a pound into a box. Why not mix things up a little :D

Really hope all my deliveries arrive this week. Need to get wrapping. :rotfl:

Hope the spreadsheet is working for everyone. If it isn't or you have problems accessing it, please PM me and il get it sorted.

Happy Sunday everyone. I'm resting all day :o

The perils of not having a sealed pot. Last night we had to take a taxi out and back, unexpectedly. My husband didn't have enough cash on him so I raided the purse where I was/am saving my money. I had to part with a tenner but he assures me he will give it back, which I know he will. The point is though, now he knows about it so I will have to get myself down to the CU and pay it in regularly. I will, meanwhile, look out for or make a sealed tin/jar.

These things are sent to try us, lol.
  • I am up to £32 now but quickly losing track!
I also want to be done by 1st Oct so will hae to be putting more than £1 a day in! Eekk!
