Well, I'm in luck, this time they have tracked me so another £4 to add bringing November total up to £5. :)

Only half a percent off my target now

I'm going to carry on putting my ££'s in my second tin for a couple more weeks to complete the challenge.

Thank you Mr CF for organising the challenge this year and I look forward to doing the same again in 2016.

Good for you Triple Choc, well done!

I'm still putting my ££'s in my second tin and will do until the end of November. In the meantime, I need to take the first lot to the bank so I can start my Christmas shopping.

I'm going to start saving for Christmas 2016 from 1st December;)

  • Thanks Ellieseleven.

I've exceeded my expectation. I thought I would fall behind by about July but I'm sure having this thread to post in keeps me focussed.
Is there a 'Make a million in a year' thread? That might work too.....

£8 to add today taking November total to £17 :)

  • £2 in for today and contents of first tin now deposited in my current account ready for my Christmas shopping next week.

This thread certainly does help to stay focused and I think we have done brilliantly throughout the year and we can now reap the rewards;)

A million might be out of my reach too until I complete my DMP but a thousand might be doable. :D

We seem to have lost Mr CF along the way but I think we should still declare our total amounts saved and set up a similar thread for Christmas 2016

Well done everyone, let's give ourselves a pat on the back, fantastic achievements by us all:T
