Hello everyone. My only day off this week so catching up on here, doing a spot of cleaning and relaxing.

I've done a full update and sent a PM to the people who haven't updated in a while or are a little behind, just to get up to date total for them so I can be as accurate as possible.

I hope everyone is well. Weather hasn't been the best but I sometimes forget were not living in Spain :rotfl:

    Take care

    MrCF

Many thanks for the PM due to computer problem I have not been able to access the spreadsheet or update form. I am still saving my £30 a month and am bang up to date. Would you be kind enough to update this for me? is that possible? please.

Hiya MrCF. apologies for not posting. No change balance still stands the same at 110.00 but unlikely much going go in to my jar until end August/Sept had a few unexpected bills to pay. Will get back up to speed then if thats okay. Thanks

Been a bit lax on the saving daily, but been chucking in change whenever I had any. Filled in update form last night. Really getting to be a decent amount now.

Going to be a tight couple of months, having raided our savings for a new car at the weekend, but I'm refusing to raid my Christmas pot. Not only am I going to try to keep saving for Christmas, but want to get our saving levels back up as quickly as we can.
Summer holiday coming up which could be difficult, but holiday already paid for, so just entertaining daughter for the rest of the hols to sort out. Hoping for nice weather to make the most of free stuff.

It's a while since I've had to be careful with money, but I think it does you good to have to sometimes, cos it makes you realise how much you can so easily waste.

    Hello
I've unfortunately had to raid my £1 a day pot as we had car problems and I've been trying to get the totals back upto where they were but I haven't managed it so far :( I think I'll have to pull out of the challenge this year but if you hopefully do it again for next year I'll be there again - best of luck on your journey and many congratulations on what you have achieved so far along your road to debt freedom -
    Best wishes

Away from home just now but I am still in and intending to add a bit more. I had managed to get ahead of myself while I could with the intention of continuing to save. Thanks.
  • Hello MrCF and everyone. I am so sorry I haven't updated my total for a while. Unfortunately my car needed repairing and rather than using my credit card (to avoid building more debt) I pulled together all my savings to pay for it - so will be starting again with the pound a day challenge tomorrow.
It will all be ok in the end - if it's not ok, then it's not the end!
    Saving for Christmas 2019 #27 total £62.00
    Sealed pot challenge 12 #32 total £67.50
    Mortgage paid off.
