About £15 a week on 2 very fussy cats - wet and dried food.

About the same for 2 fairly large dogs fed on raw

I spend about £5/month on food and treats for Pipsqueak (small rescue dog). She's happy, healthy and has a shiny coat. She doesn't get wet food as it gives her the runs. Just porridge (breakfast) and dry food. Treats are gravy bones, oatcakes, marrowbone rolls or similar. She has 3 after her main walk and one or two before bed. I've tried giving her fresh raw beef bones but she's scared of them *sigh*

£10 - £15 a week for my cat, :o she's a greedy little sod though, but she's still growing so...

I feed her Applaws, Encore, Natures Menu, etc, it's not cheap, but a lot better than Whiskas, Felix etc, 75% meat as opposed to the average 4%
She's not really a huge fan of dried food, but likes Fish4Cats, which is BOGOF on their website at the minute if anyone's interested. :)

About £105 per month for Lily's Kitchen for my Staffie, with the 15% bulk discount from Amazon. Not including treats but I just use white rice for that. 95% of dog food I wouldn't - well - feed to my dog.

It works out at around £10-£12 a week for my 3 cats.

I buy a 1.5kg bag of James Wellbeloved a month at £11ish (usually shop around to get best deal)
I buy tins and pouches - they usually get a tin in the morning and 2-3 pouches in the evening. Again I look for the 2 for £5 deals. 2 boxes of pouches and a pack of 6 tins a week.

I feed my 5 dogs a natural raw diet and spend approximately £50 per month including treats. My dogs are all approx. 10kg in weight, so not massive but not tiny either!

Our littlest is about 10 kg, we thing of him as tiny. Our biggest weighs more than my not light husband, the previous littlest weighs between 37 -43 kg depending on fitness and weight. :D

Our feed bills are sadly, a bit higher than yours :(. We also feed raw.
  • I spend about £50 whenever I do a Zooplus shop, (for one small cat) and that usually lasts 6-8 weeks. We supplement that with offal from the butchers which is dirt cheap so maybe another £3 ever 8 weeks. So all in all, around £30 a month in total.
