Not in supermarkets but in the car park, people who drive at stupidly fast speeds when they are only going 20 yards, they should
slow down...0 -
People durdling in car parks when I've just driven in and want to park quickly.0
-
People who ignore the marked parking spaces and hog the yellow line in front of the store 'cos they can't be a*sed to walk an extra 10-15 metres.
People who park in the drop-off / pick-up area then leave the car and walk into the store.
Piped music of any description.0 -

I park in the pick up bay for two reasons
1) I am going to pick up my shopping
2) I dont want a chav kid banging their puke green Zafira door against my expensive car.0 -

you dont always have the time to keep adding and removing stuff to shelves.
Where i worked it wasn't that simple to put stuff back into storage.
Items all went onto certain cages, so you cant just put the items back anywhere and had to put it back on the correct cages. Sometimes these could be at the back of the chiller, meaning you have to get all the stock out first before putting the items at the back then putting all the stock back again.
Especailly if the shelf is only going to be empty for an hour until the next delivery arrives0 -
My local supermarket (beings with T and rhymes with Mesco Mextra) has had Christmas stuff in since August. Now, 2 weeks before Christmas, there is no Christmas stuff left - not even wrapping paper and they wont get any more in. They do this with every holiday - start really early and then sell out weeks before the event, when people are actually starting to get around to buying the stuff. I know I should be more organised, but it's really annoying.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

The thick mentality of some customers.
I bought a CD which I had to exchange as 2 tracks skipped. Went to Sainsburys CSD and the customer in front of me asked is it possible to pick up his turkey on Christmas Day. The cashier said the store is closed on that day. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Re the kids in the trolley - I did this many years ago in B&M's and the trolley fell over, my son got a bump on his head.
Taught me a lesson.
Re "others" I have to agree, I generally find that the worst are "middle aged women", they have not got a clue where they are going or what they are looking for, they just wander the aisles aimlessly with zero spatial awareness.
There may be a gap, it might be narrowed due to a trolley and they will wander into the middle of the gap and stop when someone is trying to walk past them (they would know this if they looked around).
Asda is not for social gatherings people - PERIOD!
Old\retired people that go shopping at peak times when those that don't have all day need to shop
Price reductions that are total codswallop because the price was actually less than this 2 weeks ago.
Special bulk buy offers that actually cost more than buying them singly anyway.
Tannoy announcements that sound so muffled its like they have swallowed the mic.
Poeple who go shopping on the day before\after xmas and complain because it's busy and getting out the car park is hell!0 -
Customers that moan to the staff re fresh turkeys ' do you have anything smaller?'
Well you had 6-7 weeks to pre-order a turkey of a size of your choice. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Sorry, you've misunderstood - which is why I suggested that "ladies" go ask someone!
Supermarket parallel parking is when you make sure that your shopping trolley is at all times parallel to the aisle you are in, no matter where in the aisle it happens to be. This way, you minimise the proportion of the aisle that is blocked to potential passers-by. A diagonal trolley blocks a much greater cross-section of the available space. Like when LIDL insist on standing their "Deal" bins diagonally, only much worse, because trolleys are not square.
Next time you shop, do your own survey and count the men/women getting this wrong. You'll be amazed. It's as if half the population cannot grasp basic geometry, and of course they don't know it.
Count 'em. It can't be sexist when it's true.
