Thanks everyone for their input. I'm sorry I did not make myself completely clear hence some of the replies.
Every year Lloyds Bank have a review of customers overdrafts and based on on that they decide if any adjustment is needed. Now as Lloyds have this grace period I sometimes tend to use the overdraft facility in the morning but make sure the money is paid back by 3.30pm.
So what i am asking is at review time would it show I am making use of the overdraft or not based on the fact it is paid back the same day.
I went to a large Lloyds bank yesterday pm and they even told me as soon as I went overdrawn i would incur charges and their monthly fee. They were not even aware of the grace period. As regards my question they hadn't a clue.
Hi MABLE,
I'm looking into this query for you just now. I'll post again when I have an update for you.

Hi again MABLE,
Once you use your overdraft, it's recorded as being used regardless of whether the account is then brought back into credit later that day (either before or after the grace period has ended).
Regarding the branch you visited, which one was it and did you catch my colleague's name that you spoke with? If you can let me know, I'll pass on some feedback to them.
I hope this helps,
Craig“Official Company Representative
