Your problem is that you appear to think that documentation is all you need to support your complaint. However, nowhere in that SAR will it say that the insurance was mandatory and so it won't help your complaint at all.
I never thought that at all hence my original question where i say that i am thinking i have no grounds for a claim, which is why i messaged asking for some advice.
I was maybe thinking that the cross may have already been filled out in the insurance box on my original paperwork. Which i am sure it was. This is why i questioned it in the first place. However they don't have the agreement

Orville, you need to look into strong complaint reasons such as having PPI included in the loan total - single premium is a big no no. Unfortunately bank SARs just have to give you info it doesn't need to be sorted into meaningful format. This might be one for a financial expert maybe at the CAB or someone specialist
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

You really need to provide robust and above all honest complaint reasons if you want the Bank to refund your PPI.0 -

Jees,
The box was filled out, I questioned it and they said i had to have it for the loan to be approved. It really is quite simple my friend...
And the reasons i have given are honest.
Jesus why do people such as yourself proove to be such hard work?. Do you enjoy being flippant and non constructive with your help. Why are you even on here.
You must have a very sad life m8, especially with that amount of posts.

I'm only as "difficult" as the Bank's complaint assessor will be, but you won't get to tell him or her they live a "sad life".
I'll leave you to it...0 -

Why be as difficult as the banks assessor will be?. Why be flippant and bordering on rude..? Just say the assessor will need more proof then what you have as the paperwork you have been given does not contain the necessary documentation to support a claim.
Jees...

This is a discussion forum, not a helpline, please don't confuse the two.
Anyway, I've really had enough now. Find your own way.
Then if you are doing that my friend why not say you are?. People aren't mind readers you know.
I think i shall...
