Got paperwork back from Lloyds...

Hi,

I have got my paperwork back from Lloyds after sending in a DPA request.

Now the paperwork to be honest makes no sense to me really. It relates to Accounts with descriptions for example fixed rate Personal Loan C/S with Ins £500-2999

the second is the same wording with Ins 5000+

I also have sheets Titled Debt Manager Archive Details For Debtref : with a working balance of £8489 and £504

These accounts are very old and that is all the info they have on me.

I am guessing i have no grounds for a claim..? If anyone would like to look at my paperwork i can scan it and send it to them.

You don't give nearly enough detail. What year is "very old"?

Do you know you had PPI? Why did you send them a SAR letter? Have you asked them directly if you had PPI?

    Hi,

    The one for 8.5 k has 21/04/1997....

Well, if you know you had it, why have you wasted £10 for a SAR just to confirm it?

Good luck with a complaint from 26 years ago..

Thank you for that very helpful comment. I knew i had it, but knowing and proving are two different things are they not?. Hence the request for my information.

You don't have to "prove" you had it unless the Bank dispute it when you ask them.
What you need to provide is a robust mis-selling complaint.

It is not somehow wrong just to have insurance

Unfortunately, saying you were told the insurance was compulsory is a weak "hearsay" complaint for which you can provide no evidence.

I think your original post has been read and understood by all respondents. Your problem is that you appear to think that documentation is all you need to support your complaint. However, nowhere in that SAR will it say that the insurance was mandatory and so it won't help your complaint at all.
