Looks like it's coming along nicely, expensive recipe however isn't it, ouch! Saying that, with so much stuff, thinking the meat especially, you might be able to squeeze out more than 6 meals. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Although, having said that...when I get to assemble it tomorrow, I have to add the veg to the SC. What about that garlic? Do I just fish the lot out, with the bay leaves, or what? They're still in the skins, do I remove the skin and then chuck the garlic in with the veg, or fish the lot out?If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

Sadly, all that meat is still under what the recipe requires! 1.5kg in the recipe, I've got 1.29kg, which cost £8.76, so I wasn't spending any more!
If I didn't chuck it all in, it'd get wasted, so I'll use the lot.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Right, off for a bit while that lot cools, back early (for me) tomorrow! :wave:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

I've got a couple of the lads coming round.
Now then, who's gonna tell me what to do with the garlic? If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Hi MBE!
Now in the absence of anyone else answering, I'll give it a go. Just had a quick look at the recipe, and my guess is you leave the garlic out, along with the bayleaf. But I'm not as expert as lots on here, so you might want to wait for a more proffessional opinion:rotfl:
Good Luck:DYou never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
I'm not professional, despite my telephone job, but I would def remove the bay leaves & the garlic

Ta, one of the halves broke up, so it'll be fun trying to find all the bits.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0
