Twinny rolls up clutching flowers and a spare bottle of vino....
Ohhhhh Twinny slinks back to the bus stop - stopping only to swig from the bottle..............and with a rumbling tummy....
And if you'd only had the guts to knock the door, you'd have got fed before slinking off home!If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I have to say that this is a big recipe, and although slightly expensive, well worth it. It's one of the best things I've cooked. Fabulous. Thanks lil_me for the link. :TIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0

:j Pleased it turned out well, marinades a bit faffy and it's expensive but worth it
great stuff, see if I'd known you would have left overs I would have popped over. AWT does some darn good recipes and it's usually filling 'blokey' stuff as I call it, rich flavours usually with penty of meat, way most men prefer food from my experience. I use his recipes a lot, mainly free from the likes of BBC food website of course.
One day I might be more organised...........

Well, I dont know about other recipes for beef bourguignon, but the smoked bacon really gave it a lovely smokey flavour throughout - my mates were suitably impressed!
Definitely one I'll make again. :TIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Glad your mates enjoyed it, MBE!!
now whenever I notice the scales creeping up I will think of you - chocolate yoghurt cake, turkish horror, beef bourguignon ..... sigh
