I hadn't forgotten.It was plain flour in the stew, but I had a horrible experience with cornflour when I made Turkish Misery, if you remember. It's put me off the stuff for life. :rotfl:

To be honest I prefer to use plain flour. It doesn't go lumpy quite so easily.
