Hi all, sorry for the worry. All is well, just needed a bit of a break while we settled back into routine after lockdown/back to school. DH hasn’t had a big seizure since the one in August. He’s been a bit “floaty” today but generally ok.
We had our second trip to Edinburgh, and all was fantastic. No drama, just lovely memories. I ate too much and between that trip and my birthday I gained 2lbs. It’s back off again now though and I’m 2lbs away from 6 stones off. Hoping to get that on Friday.
I’m now 42, and even more scarily, DS1 is now 16!! Really proud of the conscientious young adult he has become, and he is knuckling down to his GCSEs this year. Can’t believe he can learn to drive in less than a year!
DS2 hasn’t heard anything back from the film audition. Worse than that, the tv advert he filmed has been released and you only see his hand
. He’s not bothered because he still got paid (
), but I really wanted to have it for the memory bank. Next time hopefully.
I was contacted by a producer for Martin’s show a week or two ago, about the possibility of being filmed to talk about Swagbucks. I haven’t heard anything else yet, so not sure if they have decided to use someone else.
Money wise, things continue to be tight, and we live from payment to payment. I still don’t know how we will pay for Christmas. I have applied for the Warm Homes Grant again and we are on the last stage of application, but don’t see why we wouldn’t get it again as we’ve had no changes in circumstances. I’ve also gone through the bills again and have managed to reduce a couple.
I’m sure I’ll think of more to update, but for now I’ve gone blank. I need to catch up on lots of diaries. Have I missed anything major? XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Sorry to hear DS hasn’t heard back from the audition, it must be disappointing for him, he might still hear yet though - and you with yours. Fingers crossed 🤞
You’ve done a fantastic job on the weight loss, well done 👏
Lovely to hear from you again xx

Hi all,
Just a quick note to say I’m still here. MiL and her partner both have Covid- partner is in hospital but should ultimately be ok thank goodness, MiL is managing at home. We saw them both the day before they got ill, so we are half way through a 2 week isolation. It’s not going too badly, just wish we could explain to the dogs why they can’t go out for walks. Not easy on two hyper Springers
. Xx

Sorry to hear the news. The dogs are the thing I most dread if we have to isolate. One wont toilet in the garden ( she went 14hours during the first lockown before I gave in and took her anyway as she is 14years old, one wouldnt bother too much but the third is a border collie and he would be literally howling if he couldnt go. The garden just isnt enough for him.
