I got my 8 stone award a couple of weeks ago, and I’m thrilled to say you should all see the results of my weight loss on a little itv show with our hero Martin next week. They are coming to film this week if all goes to plan

Well done on your weight loss. That is amazing. Good luck with the filming I hated being filmed when we appeared on Paul O'Gradys For the Love of Dogs and even after 3 times it never got better. Fortunately I think people were more interested in the dog than me.

About 5 years ago my dh was looking through the internet and came across an article about a dog who was said to be agoraphobic that would be on POG DOGS that week. Her photo looked so unhappy he immediately sent an email to Battersea. I only found out the following day when he got up then Battersea rang us and we arranged to see her the day before the programme. We were filmed meeting her in her kennel and when she was intoduced to our Border Collie and Jack Russell X. Then they came to he house and filmed her about a week after she came home. Then the programme that they did on what happened next she was filmed again.If you want to investigate her name is Whisper and the original two episodes were in series 3. Sshe wasnt agoraphobic just very very frightened of the world. She still wont let people touch her except us but she will now have a sniff at peoples hand. The most difficult thing was getting her to walk on a lead ( fortunately we have no road at the front of the house so she could just run onto the grassy area), it took me 13 month to get her to walk properly. I cant tell you how often I walked round that green.Sorry this is so long but you did ask.5
