Cheapest black trousers I could find in Asda were £9 for a 2 pair pack. I bought them because I’m running out of time, but will keep the reciept incase I can find any cheaper elsewhere and then I will return them.
Absolute disaster with the internet for the last couple of days. There was a fire in the Newcastle exchange at lunchtime yesterday, and we lost all services. Most folk were back online within 2 hours but ours stayed off. When I finally got through to Plusn3t, I was told our connection was in a particularly damaged bit of the exchange and we’d be back on by midnight, much to my boys’ disgust! Woke up this morning, still no service. Eventually got through again, and they said we should be back online, so they ran some tests and said we needed a new asdl filter. They were going to send me one which would take approximately 4 days, or I could buy one at @rgos for £8. The boys acted like they’d die without internet for 4 days, so off I went to @rgos. Came home, plugged it all in - still nothing!! Rang them again (e
ach call takes about 30 mins, thank the Lord for free minutes on my mobile!!), and eventually they reset my router and bingo, all back online. Total waste of £8 and several calls.
In better news, I lost 3lbs today, making 5st 4lbs off in total. 2 more ‘virtual’ groups and then we are back to actual classes. Hoping to have my 5 and a half stone award by then.Oh, and I’ve been being very vigilant with Rowan’s diet, keeping everything small and plain just incase after ‘birdgate’. His tummy seemed more settled. Then we went for our afternoon walk and the farmer was making his hay bales. Guess who found the escaping mice a delicious delicacy?. Honestly, I despair

Hello.
Ages since I've posted but read regularly and cheer you on. Amazing work on the weight loss and yay to the food vouchers from school.
Are you on local Facebook thrift sites? Ours are busy with people giving away old school uniform. Could be worth a request on a similar type page if any schools near you wear black trousers? And request compensation re internet. A complaint will hopefully get the company to rustle up a tenner so you are not out of pocket.
Glad you to hear you've had some nice family time. We've been busy working the last few months but have had a well deserved week off this week and made the most of our National Trust pass. Kids have been so happy with picnics and woodland walks - not really sure why we usually spend lots of money on expensive days out!2 -
Hi Nicky, thanks for your post. Your days out sound lovely. We cancelled our National Trust pass as we just weren’t using it, but I do regret not being able to go anytime. Especially now with other things being closed.
As far as I’m aware, all the schools round here have grey or navy trousers. I’m
going to stick with the Asda black ones and hopefully sell them on when he’s done. The filming has been changed from tomorrow to Thursday so a bit longer to wait.
My cousin brought her family up from Wales at the weekend so I was able to see her baby daughter for the first time at 10 weeks old. No cuddles as it was all very socially distant, but a lovely afternoon all the same.Sold some more tops on eBay that are too big. Putting the money I make to one side so I can buy new ones when I slim out of the ones my Mum has just bought me.

It really is a lovely feeling BM. Not one I get to experience very often either, so making the most of it while it lasts!
DS2 did the acting job today. He thoroughly enjoyed it and still wants to be an actor as a career. It should be about 2 weeks before the advert ‘goes live’. Will let everyone know when I know more. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Almost a month since I last posted
.
Still no sign of DS’s advert yet. Will update if I hear of a ‘release date’ from the Casting Agent.
It’s been a traumatic few days. Our much anticipated trip to Edinburgh ended up being a trip by ambulance to A&E after DH had a seizure on the bus into the city on our first morning. The seizure lasted 53 minutes. After spending all day at the hospital, we went back to the hotel and then drove home the next morning. It was scary stuff but the paramedics, bus driver and our boys were all amazing. I got myself a bit upset because DH was quite hard to deal with when he came round from the seizure, and continued to be quite snappy for a good 24 hours. I think it felt worse because I was tired and just so disappointed that it happened on our only break away this year. He has since apologised and is back to ‘normal’ behaviour.
On a more positive note, I have now lost 5 stone 8lbsXx
