Evening all!

Mr T had fence paint in stock so we have been on with that for the last 3 days. MiL gave me the money back for it . We’ve been taking it in turns - one paints, the other puppy sits! The garden is looking much better already. I want to paint some of the bricks next. Our house has rendering on 2/3rds and the bottom is exposed brick. I think it will look great freshened up a bit.

I lost another pound this week and got Slimmer of the Month. Was feeling quite proud til DH took my photo and I still look like the Goodyear Blimp  .

It was my Sister’s 4th wedding anniversary the other day so I sent her a basket of fruit which was well received. She put lots of it in her cocktails  .

Love how your sis put the fruit in her cocktails 🍸 🤣 How can you possibly look like the Goodyear blimp after losing all that weight, you must be not far off goal by now. Don’t put yourself down you must feel so much better xx

Bless you SA but I’m only half way there. I have at least 4 more stones to go, possibly more like 6   . DH thinks I have dysmorphic issues, but I can’t see much difference for the weight I’ve already lost. Xx

Happy June! Can you believe it’s the 9th anniversary of DH’s accident on the 4th?!?!

 Speaking of DH, he hasn’t been great today. Very vacant and tired. Fingers crossed he’ll be better after a good sleep. 

We took Rowan to the beach for the first time yesterday. We are lucky to have lots of coastline up here in the North East, so it was easy to find a quiet beach, nothing like those horror photos in the media at the moment. I’d never go onto a busy beach anyway, never mind in lockdown! Anyway, the trip was a success, even if poor Rowan fell in the sea straight off! He definitely slept well last night.

Money wise, things are just about ticking over. I managed to snap my bra wire   so have had to order another online. Had to guess at the size as I haven’t been measured since 4 stones ago. Unfortunately it was £34 as it’s fully scaffolded  . Apart from food and bills, we haven’t been spending anything else, so it’s just about stretching. Just!

Hope DH is better today.  My dog used to love going to the beach, sadly been unable to take her for a few years now we don't have transport. I can't understand why people like to cram on beaches, we used to avoid these places like the plague even before the virus. When the weather's good I'm just happy to sit in the garden rather than sit in a hot car to drive to somewhere packed solid.  Good that you know where the quiet beaches are and can have a lovely day out without the crowds.
