Thanks both. £50 has also been deducted already for tax, but as I don’t pay tax I’m hoping to get that back too  Xx

Fab news!! You can reclaim the tax online. Took my tax refund a few weeks to turn up.

Just catching up with you PLMBL. Fantastic weight loss, wish I had some of your determination and also brilliant news about the PPI :T

DD and I have butted heads something rotten in the past but are fine now :) DS and hubby are so laid back I can't imagine them ever clashing, but DS is only 13 so there's still time for him to flex his muscles :rotfl: xx
  • YAY for the PPI payout! Why DO they deduct tax? (We’re taxed far too much on everything these days!) xx
  • Thanks everyone 😇.

Was so excited ahout the PPI yesterday, I forgot to do much of an update :o.

Yesterday was a NSD. Although I’m not really tracking them, I’m aiming to have as many as possible and cut back on unnecessary spends. While out and about doing jobs (picking up prescriptions etc), I weighed in a bag of old clothes and got £1.90 . Every little bit helps!

I’ve also entered a competition to win a holiday to Florida in August. You had to submit a video saying why you should be chosen, and although the videos will be judged, they take into consideration how many likes it has on FB, so I’ve been bugging all my friends to like it :o. Apologies in advance to those from MSE on my Facebook :o. There’s absolutely no reason they will pick me over anyone else, but I’m going to do my best to win!!

    Xx

Well done on the PPI :j

Do we have to like and share or just like your video? Good luck with it anyway, fingers crossed xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Good luck with the video, I hope you win :). Have you decided what to do with the PPI money? Or will it just go into general spending?

    Thanks Hairy.

Think it will mainly go towards holiday spending, in the hope that we bring most of it back and then it can be spent differently!! I might even let the boys buy me a Mother’s Day gift this year too Xx
