  • Oh my goodness Lucky, I've just finished reading your diary (it's taken a while!). You are such an amazing, inspirational lady. Not only do you cope admirably with everything life throws at you, but you also show such care and compassion to other people. You're just wonderful! Xx

Aw, thank you WelshKitty :A. You’ve made me feel all warm and fuzzy! I don’t feel amazing, or inspirational, but I do try to be a nice person so I’m happy you think that :D Xx

  • Had a full No-Spend weekend :j. Did a bit of food shopping today though.

Had a call from Barclayc@rd re PPI today. They wanted to know ridiculous amounts of information from 1999 . They were good enough to say they realised it was a long time ago so best guess would be fine :rotfl:. Hopefully they’ll find in my favour and I’ll get a refund. The very fact I didn’t know I’d ever had PPI should hopefully work for me Xx

Hopefully you had the PPI. I always used to say no to it, couldn't afford any extra payments. Starting to wish I had though. I looked into it a couple of years ago just in case but nothing came of it. Fingers crossed xx

I didn’t think I had PPI, ever. With the deadline approaching, and inspired by Hairy, I filled in online forms with any company I could remember having had a credit card with. Barclaycard said I did have PPI (I think it may have been Egg?). They called today to ask the questions they needed to make a decision on whether I’m due a refund. If they say no, I’ll take it to the ombudsman  Xx

  • Up and down day today. Fell out with DH big style and walked out the house in a temper at 9.30am, leaving him on his own. I was so annoyed I didn’t even care that I was leaving him alone .

I drove to the cinema to collect the tickets I won and then met up with my Sister :A. We had a soft drink together, which she paid for :A, and had a good natter. While I was with her I got an email to say I’ve won a Product of the Year goody bag worth £220 :j. It has an Amazon Fire Tablet, groceries, wine, chocolate and loads of other things in so I’m super pleased.

Came home to check on DH (who was fine!) ans then did the school run and the dentist for DS1’s check up.

Boys went to MiL for pancakes for tea tonight and now DS2 feels sick and keeps threatening to puke :(.DH has gone to Best Mate’s house for a catch up.

You have every right to fall out, what with everything you’ve been through over the years and it’s good to throw a wobble once in a while and get it off your chest. You’re an amazing lady and don’t you forget it!

Fab goody bag win and something to look forward to when it arrives.

Sending big hugs (((( )))) xx
