  • Thanks all.

Quiet weekend in terms of not going very far, but not quiet in that DS1 and DH have had some blazing rows . DH’s anger has been off the scale, but to be fair DS1 doesn’t know when to stop. Think they both got a shock though and we’ve had tears. Hormones and brain injuries don’t mix well :(.

Have still managed to spend money even though I haven’t been out. Ordered MIL’s Mother’s Day present online, through TCB :money:. Have also ordered some ‘playsuits’ for daytime on holiday :o. Got 20% discount, free delivery and also went through TCB, but it hasn’t tracked yet so not convinced. 4 weeks today until we fly :j.

As you say hormones & brain injuries do not mix.
I would not want to go back to my DS's teenage years.
No wonder I am going gray :rotfl: xx

Mr SA and DS clashed big time - and this was pre brain injury days. At one time DS said to me please tell me he's not my real dad, that's how bad it got. They get on well now though. It's a hormonal thing I think. Hormones and testosterone are not a good combination :(
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Sorry about the rows Lucky but I'm sure things will improve when DS is older as SA said.

It's great to have the holiday to look forward to :) and well done on the weight loss :T.

  • All part of growing up and challenging your parents to see how far you can push them. Pretty harrowing sometimes as teenagers try to become the Alpha male, and fail! Girls aren’t any better, as they start younger :-))). I’m sure I was just as awful to my parents. Focus on your upcoming holiday and the lovely time you will have. Love and hugs xx
