Well I’ve emotionally eaten my way through a million calories the last couple of days. I don’t know why I always turn to food, I was doing so well too . Whatever the scales say on Friday, I can’t change it so will just have to try to get back on track.

DH has had an ultrasound scan today as he found a lump. The sonographer said the results will be sent to his doc but told him not to worry. Taking this as a good sign, fingers crossed.

Our twins would have been 5 today :(.

In better news, I have not one but TWO new bras. I got them fitted properly and they are 2 () cup sizes bigger than I thought I was :o

I do exacly the same food wise :(:o
As you say why do we do it to ourselves?

    Hope all well with OH.

    5 years~~blimey.
    Ghosthugs to you:A xx

Good news on the bras:T xx

  • Evening all,

Got away with it on the scales this morning- stayed the same. I’m relieved not to have put any weight on, but I’m still annoyed with myself for ‘wasting’ a week of weight loss. DH, who ate way more calories than I did, of course lost 2.5lbs and got his stone award and Target weight .

Yesterday was a NSD. It wasn’t too difficult, we had zero money to spend. Got a bit more money in today, but it will be the middle of next week before we are more ‘solvent’.

Won another £2 Amazon voucher on a survey site :T.

DS2 has been offered a place in his first choice Middle School :j Xx

  • I'm sorry about your twins' anniversary Lucky, that must be a really hard day for you and I'm not surprised you needed to do a bit of comfort eating :(.

At least you hadn't put on any of the weight you'd lost, so onwards and upwards :).

I'm sorry about DH's lump but it's a good sign that the sonographer told him not to worry.

Great news about DS2 getting his first school choice :T.

Before Mr SA got his brain tumour he found a lump in his nether regions and had an ultrasound scan. They said they thought it was fine straightaway, I think they can tell if there's a problem it would show up on the scan. Fingers crossed though xx

Well done on STS despite challenges. It's real life you're not going to lose every week, still plenty of time to get in trim for your hols :)

Fab that DS2 got his chosen school :)

Re bra cup sizes - I always thought I was a B cup, got measured, turned out I'm a D

Sad that the twins would've been 5 - big hugs xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Thanks ladies :A.

Fingers crossed DH’s lump is just a cyst. Haven’t heard anything yet, but didn’t really expect to. Hopefully no news is good news.

SA, I’m a GG :o. Amazing the change in body shape when you are wearing a bra that fits properly!! Xx

  • Excellent news on school; great that the sonographer said not to worry; well done on staying the same weight and getting your Amazon voucher and I’m really pleased you actually have a bra that fits! You can’t beat comfort :D

Have a great weekend and hope everyone survives the gusty winds that are coming - time to batten down the hatches xx
