Another 2.5lbs off today, making 20lbs in 8 weeks :j. Less chance of being harpooned on the beach now :rotfl:. Need at least 1lb next week for my Stone and a half award.

DS2 is going on a residential stay with school next week :eek:. Think we are both nervous about it, but I’m pretending I’m not :cool:. He needed some proper walking shoes which we got after school today at Sp0rts D1rect for £23. MiL has offered to reinburse me :A.

It’s so much easier SA! Losing weight is definitely more of a mental thing not a physical thing for me.

Quiet day here. DS2 has been playing out with friends and DS1 has only emerged from his cave for food or the toilet!! DH has been helping his Mum with something so I’ve had a nice little potter around the house. I’ve even cleared out the cupboard of doom in the kitchen :eek:.

Yesterday was a NSD :T. Today I took DS1 to Hobbycr@ft, as he’s been desperate for a new sketch book. The one he wanted was £5, or £2.50 to club members. So I asked to join their (free) club at the till, and got it for £2.50 :T.

DH has had a fall. He was balancing on a chair in the outhouse to sort the window out, and took a tumble :eek:. He fell into a pile of stuff and I think he was so lucky not to land on anything sharp!! He bashed the side of his face though, and a lovely black eye is forming . It’s been a while since he’s had one of those (courtesy of a seizure - he’s never been a fighter :cool:).
