Hi Auntie B :wave:, glad you found us .

New car is awesome. They’ve polished and valeted it to within an inch of it’s life, so it feels like a brand new car . Really happy with it. Took MiL out for coffee in it yesterday to say thanks, and did the school runs etc, so I have a ‘feel’ for it now.

DH has had a few partials the last couple of days and says he feels ‘flat’. I’ve just dropped him at the gym with ex-army mate. Wasn’t sure if that was the right thing to do, but DH wanted to go and hopefully it will perk him up a bit. I’ll be picking him back up again shortly and hopefully some male conversation and pumping iron will have given him his ‘spark’ back. If not, we will just have to hibernate for a while until he feels better.

Mr Lucky managed fine at the gym and seemed more ‘buoyant’ when I picked him up again. We went to the supermarket afterwards, so we could buy each other a Valentine’s day card from the cheap card shop in there, did some shopping first (loo rolls, milk etc) and then came home ... forgetting about the card shop :rotfl:. So we won’t have cards tomorrow and we’ve saved a couple of quid :money:. We don’t do presents anyway, so it’s just a normal day for us now.

It’s half term :j:j. (Remind me how excited I was if I’m desperate for them to go back by the end of next week :rotfl:).

Lost another 2lbs today, making 9lbs in 3 weeks. Absolutely delighted at that, especially after Grandma’s meal. DH has lost 8lbs in the same time, but he’s upset me so we won’t give him any praise . Apparently I’ve got a very negative personality :eek:. Only when you say things like that mate :mad:. I think he meant I’m negative about myself (which we all know isn’t true, ahem ), but it didn’t come across that way. Anyway, seems a bit daft now I’ve typed it all out. He still doesn’t get the praise though :rotfl:.

Men can be so tactless :mad:. Well done on the weight loss :T and the new car sounds lovely :T. I hope DH keeps going back to the gym as it obviously did him good.

Have a lovely half term and I hope the weather is as good where you are as it is here in Nottingham. My OH was a bit tactless after his brain tumour diagnosis; the fine tuning stopped working but we made a joke of it and got through it. Sadly I lost him 10 weeks after diagnosis. Anyway, you don’t want to hear about that. Onwards and upwards. Hope you have lots of lovely things planned. Enjoy your week xx
