Ooh Auntie Bogus you and I live in the same place and unbelievably my OH had a brain tumour (in remission). Sorry to hear you lost him. I lost my mum to a brain tumour just 6 weeks after diagnosis. Bloomin' things

Yesterday was pretty full on. DH’s dentist had referred him to the Dental hospital to get some sores inside his mouth checked out. Dental Hospital appointment was yesterday morning. They think he has something called Lichen Planus, but they want to rule out anything more sinister, so have booked him in for a biopsy on his tongue :eek:. Appointment for that is 4 days before we go on holiday :undecided.
DS2 was at a Nerf Gun party after that, and then MiL needed something done which took much much longer than expected. DH is on a road trip with Best Mate today, so I needed to do some food prep so he could take healthy food/snacks with him. Was ready for my bed by the end of the day!!

As I just said, DH is away for a few hours today, so the boys and I are just having a quiet day. DS2 is playing out with his friends and DS1 is holed up in his room. I’ve done some ironing and now I’m catching up online. Peace perfect peace Xx

Sounds like a blissful morning. Hope DH's tongue thing turns out to be nothing, best to be on the safe side. Typical its so close to your holiday, hopefully you'll get the results before you go. Enjoy the half term

Hi Lucky. He died in July 2016 and my Mum followed him five months later so double whammy, losing both my soulmate and best friend in the same year. However, life goes on and I’m embracing being single. My one and only son lives with me (sadly he has mental health issues having lost his Dad when he was 17) so I’m rarely lonely.

Great to hear you had a peaceful (if short-lived!) morning. Hoping DH’s tongue biopsy is negative and he’s well afterwards for your holiday. xx

SA sorry to hear you lost your Mum but great to hear your OH is in remission - long may it last. Did you hear about the body they found in Vernon Park yesterday? I live overlooking that park; it’s a bit close for comfort!

Thanks SSG. I’m sure he’ll be fine and it’ll just a precaution- I just hope nothing goes wrong with the stitches or anything while we are in Tenerife!! Xx
