Had a lovely meal with the family for Grandma’s birthday. A few weren’t well/couldn’t make it, so there was a smaller number of us than usual - 19. Food was beautiful and I went way over on my syns, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and I’m back to being ‘good’ now. I hope I’m still here and surrounded by a big family when I’m the Grandma/Great Grandma at 84 :A.

Well done on the weight loss.
Sometimes you have to forget the syns/points and enjoy your meal. You can always make it up in the week Your grandma does so well bless her.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

And that's the beauty of SW, you can stick to free foods for the rest of the week and still lose weight! Sometimes you have to enjoy "now" x0 -
Thanks all. I’ve managed to get straight back on the eating plan, so hopefully it will show on the scales on Friday :A.
I collect my new car in the morning :j. I’ve ammended the insurance and the monthly payment will go up by £17 until renewal in July. I could’ve paid £83 today and keep the monthly payment the same, but that would leave us short and only save £5 in the long run. I did the amendment online though, so avoided paying any charges for that. Ridiculously, doing it over the phone would’ve cost £25 .

Found you! Glad to be able to come out of lurkdom and so interested to hear your ongoing progress. Whatever life throws at you, you get through it with the love and support of your network of family and friends and you never cease to amaze me! Enjoy the (new) car and carry on with the surveys; being a widow I do them as a way of filling a few (sometimes lonely) hours and making a bit of cash to help with the (paltry) income! xx0
