Enjoy Yorkshire, can the tickets be e-bayed!?0

Not sure penny. Might give it to my friend if I can’t use it.
Both boys have had their hair cuts. DS2 loves his, DS1 hates his. He says he isn’t starting his new high school in September if it hasn’t grown to how he wants it . Guess he’s a proper teen now.
Weather has been glorious here today which has helped get 4 loads of washing dried. It’s been like a laundrette!! Almost ready to put it all in cases for tomorrow.
SiL is still in hospital. They have been treating her with IV antibiotics for a week now. He appendix has perforated but hasn’t leaked into her other organs, and they are desperately trying to avoid an operation due to her heart condition. My poor sister has been sleeping in a chair beside her for a week now .

Oh dear to DS1's hair PLMBL! He's got 4 weeks for it to grow back before high school.
Poor SIL, hope she's ok. Your poor sister must be so stiff from sleeping in a chair for a week poor things.
Enjoy your break away xxMummytogirls x0 -

Sorry to hear SIL is still poorly, hope she picks up soon, what a worrying time.
Made me smile about DS's hair - been there, done that, etc with my two. It will have grown by September though - but could just imagine you ringing the school to say he won't be starting because he doesn't like his hair!
Hope you have a lovely break in Yorkshire xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Well hellooooo!
Back from our week away. Overall it was great, weather was amazing and we had some lovely day trips. A few niggles from being in such close proximity with MiL 24/7, but DH was quite good for most of the time. He’s been off since we got home this afternoon though. He offered to hang the clothes on the airer as it started raining, and when I looked he’d used pegs - on the airer indoor:cool:.
SiL got home from hospital on Thursday - 2 weeks after being admitted. Fingers crossed she’s truly on the mend - don’t think my Sis could sleep on that chair again after 14 nights straight .
Money wise we are just scraping by. Starting to panic about paying for the rest of the school uniform, my party (really wish I hadn’t booked this now), DS1’s Birthday and then dare I mention it - Christmas .

Glad you had a great time. You were in York at the same time one of my work friends was, it was weird seeing you both putting similar pics on FB on the same day.
Fingers crossed for SIL.

Glad you had a nice week away PLMBL.
Re the money, try not to worry too much, I'm sure it will work out... always does. Is DS starting at high school this time? My DD's blazer and PE kit was £85 with 10% off . So expensive.

Yes Mummy, he’s starting High School. I’ve already got the logo’d polo shirts, jumpers, coat (!!) and apron, but I still need the trousers and PE/Games Kit . I’ve spent over £100 already and I think there’s about the same again to spend.
I’ve ordered 100 paper sweetie bags for my party from Am@zon, using the £1 voucher I won, so it only cost 75p :T. I’ve given up on a grand idea of getting my hair done ‘properly’ before my party, and I’ve bought a home hair dye for £6.50. Will just get the usual wet cut in the next few weeks when I can afford it.
Have listed some things on eBay, with more to do later. Need to drum up some pennies asap. I’m £6 from £50 payout on Populus and half way on YouGov. Trying to concentrate on those, along with Swagbucks for Amazon vouchers.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
