Eek sorry, didn't realise I hadn't updated since Sunday!
Saw Nurse registrar on Monday. All bloods have come back 'ok' so coeliac has been ruled out, but need to have more bloods done tomorrow as inflammatory markers still raised. More investigations needed gynae wise, so I have an appointment on Monday with a female GP for some yucky internal stuff. Good news is pain is a lot less now.
We also went to the farm on Monday as our passes run out next week. Had a thoroughly brilliant time so the Gr0up0n deal back at Easter was well worth it.
Yesterday DH was at the hospital for a fracture clinic appointment. He broke his clavicle (amongst other bones!) in the accident 4 and a half years ago. It hasn't healed properly at all and the bone sticks out at his 'collar' which continues to bother him. They offered to fix it at the time of the accident, but there was so much head injury stuff going on it didn't seem necessary. DH suddenly decided he wanted something done about it. I still think it's unnecessary but he insisted on finding out what it would entail so GP got him a Consultant appointment (typically in half term!). Short version of a long story is that Consultant is prepared to do it but it's a major operation with a long recovery and involves metal plates it which may be visible through the skin . He also might lose sensation across his chest and worst case, down his arm and in his fingers. I think he's decided against it thank goodness, but you never know with DH!! Consultant has left it up to us to decide and it could be done in 3 months or 3 years without problem so there's no rush.
In other (more MSE!) news, I'm feeling very stressed about money. As in, we don't have enough to cover everything. I think I've taken my eye off the ball a bit while I've been poorly and forward planning has been none existent. For example, what on earth possessed me to get the tv fixed (£96 ) in the week where it's half term, MiL's birthday and all the bills are due out??? I'm feeling quite panicky about it and that I've let everyone down by not doing my job properly

Wonder if your trip to the dr will show anything up, I was recently tested for coeliacs too, was glad when it came back ok. Glad you're pain is easing though.
Im sure you will get by with the money, things always work out in the end. Don't put too much pressure on yourself, you've loads going on as it is! xxMummytogirls x0 -

You have not let anyone down Lucky.
You have a LOT on your plate in so many ways & sometimes one of the plate stops spinning.
The TV needed fixed.

Sorry about my pity party this morning
and thank you for coming to my rescue Mummy, Buffy and Beanie. I've discovered that one bill will be coming out on the 3rd not the 2nd, which gives us another £44 to play with as we get some more money in on the 3rd. Basically that £40 has to cover EVERYTHING from now until Tuesday.
We went to a free museum today with the added bonus of meeting SpongeBob there. Boys had a great time and I spent a grand total of £1.80 on parking for a few hours. More days out like that for the rest of half term and this £40 might just last (fridge is bare though ).

If you thought that was a pity party - sorry but you need lessons! I don't know how you do it. The trouble is you are not well and instead of being able to concentrate on that you have the responsibility for 3 others to deal with. All the while, I suspect, trying not to let them know that you are not well, probably because it will cause them more worry. I suspect that DS1 may be a worrier because he will be more aware of the issues. So please give yourself a break. You are passed hump day now and if they do nothing over the rest of half term they will not be the only ones.0

^^^ What Patanne said.
You could set yourself up as a 'Life-skills coach' Lucky; you're an inspiration to so many of us MSEers! :T0 -

Does your wider family know you're unwell and still in significant pain? Couldn't DH and boys go to MIL during the day so you can rest, as you don't get much rest at night?
Hope you are feeling better today. Keep reminding your GP that you are DH's carer and when you are incapacitated he is at risk. Have you also flagged up to your GP that your youngest reacts badly to stress? The pattern of him being sick seems to follows the pattern of DH having a bad day. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0
