Mattress toppers are a brilliant idea, thank you!

Lovely couple of sunny days here so lots of time spent in the garden. Also had DS1 and his mates at parkour twice in two days, and this morning MiL had the boys so that DH and I could go to the gym. It was the first time we've been in 5 weeks since the schools broke up, and the first time it's been just us in the same length of time!! I think the break did us all good.

DH was horrifically jerky (myoclonic seizures) in his sleep last night. I hardly slept at all but thankfully it went no further. He has been Mr Angry today but otherwise ok.

My cat is poorly . Think she may either have had a stroke or has a mouth infection, as she is hanging her tongue out and drooling amongst other things. Spoke to vet who said see how she is by lunchtime tomorrow and take her in if no better. Managed to get her to eat some tuna a little earlier though and she has perked up slightly.

Stayed the same at fat class tonight :mad:. No idea why .

All this sounds rather depressing sorry. We've actually had a nice day at the farm apart from that!!

Thank you both. Thought cat was a bit better this morning as she even managed to purr, so I made the next routine appointment at vets which is tomorrow afternoon. Then she seemed to go downhill a bit tonight so was wishing I'd asked for an emergency appointment for today. She's not bad enough for an out of hours call right now though, but I'm keeping a close eye on her.

DH has been very snappy again today. It's wearing me down if I'm honest :(.

DS1's new mattress that I ordered using clubc@rd vouchers was supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Got a call at 5.27pm to say mattress arrived damaged so they won't be bringing it :mad:. We *might* get one next week apparently :mad:.

As for mattress; better a delay than to receive a damaged item and have to fight to get a replacement.

Cat is all better :j:j. She had a broken tooth which the vet pulled for her and she is back to herself again today :j:j. Cost £20, well worth it. Lovely to see her 'being a cat' again.

Went to a Bums and Tums exercise class last night. Hardest thing I've ever done!! 30 minutes of sheer hell, and felt physically sick afterwards . Added bonus that I couldn't eat my tea as I felt so awful so extra calories saved!!

Today is FiL's anniversary so we are spending the day with MiL. Not sure what we are doing yet, will let MiL decide Xx
