Levi, it was totally the real Shaun the Sheep! Definitely not someone in a costume :rotfl:. Actually, it was a very good costume, I was well impressed! Thanks for the offer of sending LL with a shopping list bless him. Slightly cruel though to send him shopping for other kids not himself though don't you think?!
.
SA, Lilt and Nicky, thank you for your well wishes re DH. He does know that it's been so long (he has a chart to refer to!), but he is very cautious in being optimistic. He wants to make it to 20 weeks, and then to 26 (half a year), but he hasn't really allowed himself to think past that yet. He seems to be having more good days than bad at the moment though, not sure if that's simply down to not having build up to seizures and then recovery from them.
Lost another 3.5lbs at chub club tonight making 2 stone 12 in total. That 3 stone award is finally within reach!! I got Slimmer of the week AND Slimmer of the month :j, much to DH's disgust :rotfl:. He actually stayed the same this week and was so NOT happy bless him.
It's my friends' Mum's funeral tomorrow.

Uh-oh. Getting worried now.
Chariot's owner wants me to bring over her wellies, extra-warm coat & spare jumpers.. With CD's huge crate, two dogs, DS plus his luggage and self - that car is going to be well packed before my stuff goes in. Something tells me I'll be carrying just two sets of clothing - and rushing to supplement 'em at the closest charity shop on arrival! :rotfl:please-let-me-be-lucky wrote: »We haven't seen Consultant since you mentioned turmeric, but I shall certainly do so when we see him in a few weeks.
Please do. Sure we both know why..
Hope the funeral goes as well as possible.0 -

Evening all!
Today's funeral was - as far as funerals can be - really lovely. It was a Humanist service, all about the lady herself, and was truly a celebration. Tears were still shed, but it was a happy occasion too and I came away thinking 'that's what I want mine to be like' (though hopefully not for at least 50 years!!).
I had a nice catch up with my friends at the wake afterwards and, because I'd gone on my own, it was a relaxing time too. Only had diet coke and therefore spent very little, apart from the donation to the collection which the family had suggested instead of flowers.
Popped in to Mr T's for a few bits, got some diesel using 12p per litre savings, and then paid my T@lk T@lk bill early to get a 10% discount. So a spendy day but all necessary.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

DH was super jerky in his sleep last night. I mean so bad I half thought it was a seizure. Just wanted to document that here for my own records. He has also been constantly hungry and moody
.
So today we did some running around for MiL and then took the boys swimming. DS1 found 20p roadkill on the bottom of the pool which he proudly gave to me :T. Got him well trained. Can't believe it's Thursday already and the half term is nearly over!
