. My MIL text on Friday inviting us round to discuss a family holiday , we don't really do going away with people so this will be an interesting conversation :rotfl: xxpoohbear59 wrote: »I loved reading about thoughts on MILs and holidays. I just had DS1s MIL here for two weeks. He was here most but not all the time. He is very tolerant.
I have been at target weight for 11 months now. I keep going to group because it keeps me on the rails lol. And for me too it is a social occasion. I don't get out much either.
MiL has been very good to us and there's no way I would cut her out of anything, but we do spend a LOT more time with her than your average family I think. It would be different if FiL was still here (it's his anniversary tomorrow- 8 years). Mummy I look forward to hearing about your holiday plans . Pooh, I'm sure your DS1 will be nothing BUT tolerant - he must take after his Mum

Quick catch up of the weekend.
Sat - met with DH's school friend and family at the beach. Oakley and kids had a brilliant time :T. Not a NSD as stopped at cheap card shop to start stocking up for cards I need for September celebrations. I need 15 cards and that's not including my own from DH and boys .
Today - met with Mum and Grandma for lunch
. Haven't seen Grandma for a while so it was good to catch up. Mum and Grandma both contributed to our bill, so it only cost me £10 :j.
DS1 has been absolutely awful late afternoon/tonight though, and has been banished to his room without his things since 6pm . Hope he's learned his lesson by tomorrow morning!!Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thinking of you Lucky,
Sounds like over all things are going ok. My OH is amazing considering how my DM treats him. My whole family are about as welcoming as a bunch of stinging nettles. Thankfully he is very tolerant. I feel family is so important, even when they are hard work. It is so nice that you involve your MiL in lots of things.
Hope this week is a good one.
