Lucielle I haven't heard of "The Secret". Is it worth a read?
HI and October, thanks for your kind words. Not so sure I 'sparkle' anymore, but will try to give it a polish
.
Knit Witch, it's worth a try eh?! Thank you.
nmlc, I'm glad you found something that works for you and I'm all for freedom of choice. I probably would've tried something other than SW a while ago, if I wasn't so involved with my class (I do the weighing in of everyone at the scales and count many members as friends). However, the SW plan does suit me and works well when I actually stick to it. I find I need to be accountable for myself by going to a group, and it has become a social thing for me too (I don't get out much lol). I look forward to a time when, like you, I can say I am at target weight

MiL has been feeling down since we got back from holiday. I think it's been a shock to the system being alone again after being with my noisy rabble for a week! Anyway, we took her out for the afternoon yesterday to a Nat Trust place. We are members, and MiL bought the coffees, so a NSD was had :T. It was a nice afternoon.
Went food shopping today - £97 . This also included a new lunch bag and bottle for DS2, but still .Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

It certainly makes you think about how you 'think' about things. I must dig it out and read it again.

I loved reading about thoughts on MILs and holidays. I just had DS1s MIL here for two weeks. He was here most but not all the time. He is very tolerant.

Thanks EE. Would I need a Kindle or similar to read it? I don't have anything like that, but would love a copy if it can just be read as an email?? Not very 'up' on that kind of technology I'm afraid
