    As it isn't registering at all on the PC (assuming you've looked properly) then probably the drivers wouldn't help anyway as I'd expect it to at least give a code 10 can't start if you didn't have the drivers. Normally they'd download and install automatically as it's only the ADB drivers that need a manual install.

    That leaves my alternate suggestion. I'd suggest a pickaxe and spade would be good for digging the hole although there's probably an MSE board you can ask about that.



    All that I was saying was that the device is not recognised by my Win 7 / 8.1 PC's
    I would probably put the pickaxe through my head !!

    I'm surprised he bothered. Come to that I'm surprised I did too. I'll just ignore your threads in future - that should reduce my time here by a fair old percentage.
