I am a bit fed up
1. Can't lose weight.
2. Can't get rid of the debt
3. My son is missing
4. OH is a miserable bleeder (mostly permanently)
5. Seem to veer wildly from one 'drama' to another.
However, things could be worse
1. We both earn money
2. Debt isn't going up (its not going down either!)
3. We all have our health
4. Life is never boring.
Sorry just needed to get that one of my chest!

And quite right too. Debt will go down eventually. Most of us go from one drama to another and life would be pretty boring if it was the same old same old all the time. Kick OH up backside. Bit concerned re son though ?5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -

Hi Sammy
1&2 are not important in the scheme of things - but 3 sounds very worrying. Do you have any idea where he is? Do you think he's safe?

Hiya All
Feeling a bit better today. Son left home late last year after a difficult twelve months (he is eighteen, nineteen in a couple of weeks) he is not a bad lad just a little immature, sensitive and obviously thinks his mum and dad are old fogies with no idea how he feels.
He eventually left home to live with a mate and all seemed well, He was managing. He came to stay for a week and stole from me (cigarettegate!). Since then he has not answered any calls, he has had his phone cut off and I have found out from my ex MIL (his granny) that he had to leave his flat, went to stay with another friend, had to leave there and there the trail goes cold.....
He moved to a different area with different friends so I have nothing to go on really. I have reported him to the missing persons helpline. DD thinks he may be in touch soon as it is his birthday.. Here's hoping. Its difficult as if we found him and he came home, it would be difficult for everyone. But I would like to know that he is okay.
Thanks for all your concerns. I just needed to remind myself out loud that I do have things to be grateful for.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Hi sammy
I remember your thread about when he stole the cigarettes now (a very memorable thread!).
What a difficult and painful situation for you. 'Losing' a child must be the worst nightmare for any parent. I hope he gets in touch around his birthday or some time soon.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
Yes he can be quite resourceful, and its a strange situation to be in. I just know that he probably feels like he can't get in touch, and whilst I would dearly love to throttle him, I also just want to know that he is okay..
