What is the coldest temperature you can comfortably sleep in?

With a decent Duvet or sleeping bag it can be quite cold.
I've comfortably slept in a tent or my boat when it's less than zero outside. The only bit that was cold was my nose.
We don't have our bedroom above 16 except for an hour before we get up and the same around bed time
If you really get cold then an electric blanket can be cheap to run as it's only heating you rather than the whole room.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
In the Winter I think its gets to 15/16C but so long as I have 2 duvets, a water bottle and my jim-jams I am fine."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

I do not really feel the cold. The heating has not gone on yet, and it's 13.4C in my house at the moment. I did change my 4.5tog duvet to a 10.5 one last week though. 17C is my ideal temp as I still walk round in a t-shirt at that temp, but today I have had to put on a shirt and jumper on top. I generally put the heating on when it drops to under 13C, but only for an hour in the morning and the same at night, but a coal and log fire if I intend to spend the evening in the lounge.0

Seriously? If it was as warm as 17 degrees I'd be opting for wearing pyjamas with no covers (only tucking feet into bedding scrunched at the bottom of the bed).

Last night it was 3C outside, I had the window open and still threw off the duvet because I was too hot.
I don't put the heating on in my bedroom at all as I cant sleep when I'm hot.
Last year in Alaska, one night it was -9C outside and it was the best nights sleep I had all the time I was there.0 -
Some really impressive people on here. Thanks for all the feed back.0

my thermostat is on 17 now and the heating keeps going off but I feel cold
however with a good duvet you should be fine in bed.
I always turn the heating off before sleep time unless it's really cold and then maybe 15 - can/t afford not to.

I really feel the cold, I'm a cold tattie!
I *think* OH sets the heating to 21, but shh don't tell him, I sneakily up it to 24! Then I sit with my blanket on in the lounge.
I do leave my bedroom window open a tiny crack, but close the blinds and the (heavy, lined) curtains. Huge heavy duvet, and sometimes a wheat bag or hot water bottle.

I don't have heating in my bedroom. My living room heating only went on tonight when it got to about 12 degrees. My perfect living room temperature would be 16 degrees; lowest for sleeping is probably close to zero.0

Subzero in the ice hotel with a very good sleeping bag.
Rather warmer than that at home with a duvet that keeps sliding off the bed. I find it stuffy and don't sleep well if the bedroom is hot though, so probably about 16. Any lower than that and I can't get my !!!! out of bed in the morning. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
