Pleasure ladies, I enjoy helping others find their joy in blogging. It's far too addictive (that's where I've been the last week or so, but hopefully by doing that I'll work out the way that it'll earn me some passive income to help with the mortgage.

So we got the house valued today. It's worth a little more than I thought we'd get for it which is promising. One thing became very apparent as we were "tidying up" for the EA coming round is that we have far too much clutter despite thinking I had been doing well decluttering.

Need to do some sums and decide if we put the house on market soonish, wait until spring or stay put! I can't make my mind up between the first two, but I know the third isn't an option.........

I'm glad to hear the surprise was to the upside :) Clutter just appears out of the woodwork, though, doesn't it. I think I've done a lot, but I realised today I haven't touched the understairs cupboard at all, nothing. Argh!

I still haven't attempted decluttering this week, been way too busy at work and shattered in the evenings. I have however seen a house just pop onto the market that I really like and it's well within budget so it's motivating me to get things done.

Need to get another EA round as I don't think the first one will budge on the fees to where we would like them to be, so it's worth comparing.
  • So glad I came across this - I did the "get rid of 100 things" challenge this spring and after reading the latest posts I think it's time for another one. Rather than doing it in one day I aim for 3 a day for a month...although now I'm thinking there is a cupboard I have not tackled for ages...so I could empty it, paint it and hopefully get rid of quite a few things at the same time :D

    Thank you for inspiration.

Watching Eat Well for Less while typing this - another thing I need to address...
  • Just sent a little bag to the chazza.
