It sounds as if you’ve had a lovely weekend and enjoyed Rod Stewart even if he wasn’t the real one. The restaurant sounds lovely too. Bet the food was delicious- I do like Tom Kitchin, he comes over very genuine and not full of his own ego.
Did the scooter make a difference.

Would you not qualify for the Council Tax reduction scheme for Disabled People ? Particularly now you need more room for getting the scooter in and out ?
In short no.
As I do not have two bathrooms although the one I have is a wet room it does not count as other people can use it:mad::mad:
Even although the part grant to adapt it came from the council :mad::mad:
YOu could not make it up.

I'm not surprised you're feeling scunnered. How did the Council even know you'd had a short term lodger? Any chance you could have somebody else for a month or so to offset what you're being charged? xx0
