What a dire day today.
Got home after the FB to a new demand from CTax & my payment has gone up from £62 per fortnight to £82 per fortnight.
I am so blooming angry & cheesed off I just cant tell you.
As I had that lodger for two months I have lost the council tax reduction for the whole year.

It sounds as if you’ve had a lovely weekend and enjoyed Rod Stewart even if he wasn’t the real one. The restaurant sounds lovely too. Bet the food was delicious- I do like Tom Kitchin, he comes over very genuine and not full of his own ego.

Hope the audit went OK. That's a kick in the teeth about your council tax just because you had a lodger for 2 months. It seems high even before the rise, especially if you're already getting some sort of discount for single person? That's £520 per year more if you pay it over 12 months which of course you may not. Just for a bit of context we pay £120 per month x 12 months. xx0 -
