    What a dire day today.
Got home after the FB to a new demand from CTax & my payment has gone up from £62 per fortnight to £82 per fortnight.
I am so blooming angry & cheesed off I just cant tell you.
As I had that lodger for two months I have lost the council tax reduction for the whole year.
So the moral is don't help someone out as it will cost you very dear.

Oh no - what rubbish news on your birthday. How very dare they send such news especially on your special day.
I hope your still managing to enjoy your birthday and get chance for a little glass of something celebratory preferably to wash some smarties down
It sounds as if you’ve had a lovely weekend and enjoyed Rod Stewart even if he wasn’t the real one. The restaurant sounds lovely too. Bet the food was delicious- I do like Tom Kitchin, he comes over very genuine and not full of his own ego.
Did the scooter make a difference.

Oh no that is rubbish Beanie.

Would you not qualify for the Council Tax reduction scheme for Disabled People ? Particularly now you need more room for getting the scooter in and out ?

I got a tea towels one with a list of wedding anniversaries as a token jokey present - from on line somewhere. The couple seemed to like it.

    Happy Birthday Beanie _party_:bdaycake:

Hope the audit went OK. That's a kick in the teeth about your council tax just because you had a lodger for 2 months. It seems high even before the rise, especially if you're already getting some sort of discount for single person? That's £520 per year more if you pay it over 12 months which of course you may not. Just for a bit of context we pay £120 per month x 12 months. xx
